Vietnam is a developing country with wonderfully friendly people, stunning landscapes and a government that is opening to the West. Global Volunteers was invited by the Ministry of Education and Training to teach conversational English to high school and university students in Hanoi, and younger children at a local orphanage.

English language fluency is vital to Vietnam's long-term development and their ability to communicate in the global marketplace.  You're needed as part of the country's high-priority effort to make English their language of instruction.  In addition, our hosts would like volunteers with professional backgrounds in economics, law, business, and finance to offer university lectures in those areas.
